Ralph R. Schuetz of Allison Park, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford surrounded by family on October 13, 2016, the day after his 90th birthday. Ralph was born and raised in Chicago, IL on October 12, 1926. Ralph worked for Cities Service Oil Company in Chicago, where he met Marie (Martin) his beloved wife of 62 years. Together they had 3 loving children, son David (Sherri), daughter Laura Forauer (Andrew), and son Mark (Rebecca). Ralph R. Schuetz of Allison Park, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford surrounded by family on October 13, 2016, the day after his 90th birthday. Ralph was born and raised in Chicago, IL on October 12, 1926. Ralph worked for Cities Service Oil Company in Chicago, where he met Marie (Martin) his beloved wife of 62 years. Together they had 3 loving children, son David (Sherri), daughter Laura Forauer (Andrew), and son Mark (Rebecca). He was the cherished and proud "Papa" of Ethan and Brendan Forauer, Katie, Matthew and Michael Schuetz and Collin Schuetz. Ralph was preceded in death by his father and mother Rudolph and Tillie (Strieter) Schuetz, and also by his brother Roy Schuetz. Ralph was active member of Ascension Lutheran Church in McCandless. He volunteered at UPMC Passavant Hospital for 20 years. Ralph served during World War II in the United States Army Air Force. He loved to fish and golf and enjoyed supporting his grandchildren at their church, school and sporting events. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3 to 7 pm at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry., Ross Twp., 412 364 4444, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:30 am, followed by a private burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
